Google has a product called Flow, which is an artificial intelligence tool for creating videos. One of the things that you can do with it is give it two images and it will create a video from them, using the images as the first and last frame.

It worked pretty well for this application, letting me "surface" at exactly the time that a train passed over the railroad bridge in Point Pleasant, NJ. Not impossible to do without AI, but this does make it easier!
